Dear Diary,
This is for all of my pregnant mamas! Now that I’m in the home stretch of my pregnancy, I thought it would be a good time to share some of my must have items! I broke it down into essentials and clothes.

These essential items are things I use everyday. First of all, I literally can not live without my pregnancy pillow! I might keep sleeping with it even after pregnancy! Lol. Some other favorites include yoga blocks for yoga or stretching, Yeti bottle and Liquid IV for all the hydration, Waterpik flossed to avoid those bleeding gums, and bath thermometer so I can safely enjoy my baths! I also included my favorite prenatal vitamins (they taste like citrus!) and some of my must have body care products.
I use the Nutrogena Body Oil in the shower before I get out, while my skin is still damp. I apply this all over my body to keep my skin hydrated (it’s gotten rid of all those little red bumps on my arms!). When I get out of the shower, I mix the Bio Oil with the Burts Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter and rub all over my belly, back, butt and thighs! This keeps everything super hydrated to (hopefully) help with stretch marks. Stretch marks are mostly hereditary, so it’s inevitable if they run in your family. But keeping the skin hydrated and using products like these with vitamin E in them can help a bit!
I use the EltaMD Mineral SPF every single day. Protect your skin from the sun, mamas! Melasma is very common in pregnancy. This is a fantastic mineral sunscreen that blends easily, doesn’t leave you greasy or with a white cast, and is super hydrating!
Last but not least, I use this 8 Sheep’s Organic magnesium lotion before bed every night. It smells like lavender and the magnesium helps with all those pregnancy aches and pains (back ache, restless legs, etc.).

Clothes (click the link above to shop)
For most of my pregnancy I was able to just size up for almost all of my clothes, but it has been really nice to have a few key pieces in maternity. Having maternity clothes is great because they hug your body in a way that accentuates the bump which ends up making you look thinner. When I wear baggy clothes, I think its harder to tell that I’m pregnant and just look frumpy. Here are some of my must haves!
Everything I shared is extremely affordable mostly from Target, Amazon, and Old Navy. I love wearing maternity dresses and jumpsuits, there’s so many ways to style the bump with these. I also think that maternity leggings, jeans, and some basic tees are great to have! Joggers and pajamas I just wear a size up and roll them under my belly.
I also have tried quite a few different bras. I thought it made the most sense to start buying nursing bras so I don’t need to buy even more once the baby is here. These are some of my favorites! And trust me, you will want some comfy, stretchy underwear! I got these in a size up and they are amazing, they feel like butter!
Comfy shoes (without ties!) have also been incredible for me. I wear these canvas sneakers and slides from Old Navy almost every day. Then I wear these Adidas slip on sneakers for more support when we go on walks.
The two things I invested in (or really, that I asked for from family!) are a nice robe and slippers. Neither are maternity, but they are life changing! This Mason Grey robe is the most incredible quality, I never want to take it off. I personally love this style with the banded sleeves so when baby is here, I don’t have to worry about the sleeves getting in the way of feedings or diaper changes. I also am so obsessed with my Ugg slippers, I might ask for another pair for my birthday!
I hope this was helpful for my mamas to be! Comment below any must have pregnancy items that you think I need to try!
