Dear Diary,
Christmas is only 8 days away, & whether we want to admit it or not, there are always those random last minute gifts we forget to buy people.
I came up with some gift ideas from Dollar Tree that your friends & family will ACTUALLY want & enjoy!
The best part of these gifts is that they are truly thoughtful but you can easily grab them on Christmas Eve if you really needed to! These are also great to bring as a little table gift if you are going to someone’s house for a Christmas dinner or party.
Enjoy!
A Mug full of Goodies
I’m obsessed with this mug because it’s so huge & super adorable,
I filled it with fuzzy socks, soap & a bath bomb. I have tried all of these things from the Dollar Tree and truly adore them!
Here are some other ideas of things you can add with this mug:
You can add some hot chocolate packs & some candy canes, these really awesome “Yes To” face masks, or a some delicious smelling bath bombs!Wine Bottle Bag
You can’t go wrong with a bottle of wine!I LOVED these adorable burlap wine bottle bags that Dollar Tree had this year! There were a few different phrases, but this was my favorite so I grabbed 3!
Stuff like this is even great to have in your car in case you need a really quick gift (& if you don’t gift it, you get to keep the wine for yourself)!
Cook Book
The Dollar Tree has really nice cook books! I think it would be so nice to get a cook book & even throw in some ingredients so they can create one of the recipes!
Baking Gift Basket
I love this basket idea & actually ended up gifting it to the family that I Nanny for. I know that the kiddos love to bake with their mom so I thought it would be perfect.
Here’s what’s included:
I loved this bucket so much that I grabbed a few of them! It’s perfect for a gift basket or even a plant! In the basket, I used some shredded gift paper to lift the contents up a bit. I filled it with a kitchen towel & matching oven mitt. I also grabbed a red spatula, some packs of cookies, sprinkles, gummies, cookie cutters (comes in set of 6), & a really nice scent diffuser.
I would be thrilled to receive this as a gift!
Cookie Kit
This gift is great if you liked the gift basket, but didn’t want to put as much in it!
I grabbed this adorable gingerbread oven mitt that has the recipe on it, some gingerbread cookie mix, & a gingerbread cookie cutter!
I wrapped it all in this twine to make the perfect little gift!
Cookie Kit 2
Here is another little gift set if you don’t want to do the whole gift basket!
In this set, I grabbed the gingerbread cookie mix, this adorable dish with a mug & gingerbread cookie on it, a red spatula, & a gingerbread cookie pot holder!
I wrapped it all in the same twine to pull it all together!
DIY Peppermint Sugar Scrub
I think this is my favorite one of all & I know that I would LOVE to get this as a gift.
Here’s how I made this sugar scrub:
(All of these ingredients you can purchase at the Dollar Tree except for the essential oils!)
You’ll Need:
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of coconut oil
- A glass jar or something to put the scrub in (I loved this one because it reminded me of a peppermint candy!)
- Peppermint essential oil
- Red food coloring
- Mini plastic spoon
- White string tags
- I mixed 2 cups of sugar with 1/2 cup of coconut oil. After mixing well, I added a few drops of peppermint essential oil.
That’s it for my Last Minute Christmas Gifts from Dollar Tree!
