Ulta Beauty Hydrating Face Primer , Ulta Beauty Matte Eye Primer , Ulta Beauty Tinted Moisturizer , Ulta Beauty Full Coverage Liquid Concealer , Brush Crush Diamond Sponge , Essence Lash Princess , NYX Lip Lingerie Gloss

I went to Ulta the other day with a gift card. I wanted to try some new concealer and heard really good things about the Ulta Beauty brand! When I went to pick some up, I saw that the brand was having a buy two get two free deal! Since I’ve never really tried anything from the Ulta Beauty line, I thought it would be fun to get some and give you my first impressions!

I also thought I would try out a few other new reasonably priced items and let you know what I thought!

Keep in mind that these are first impressions, so my opinion might change in the future.

First up is this matte eye primer! I really liked this primer because it has a nude tint to it so it doesn’t leave my lid looking too white. It went on really nicely! I wore sparkly eyeshadow over it and it really popped. It  also held up all day long!

I give it 5 out of 5 stars!

Next I put on this hydrating face primer! I was really exited about this one because they had all different types of primers…but the hydrating one sounded great for my dry skin with coconut water! Its a clear/whitish color and definitely super hydrating! I felt like I was using a moisturizer before my makeup, not even a primer! This is one I can definitely see myself using a ton!

I give this one 5 stars, too!

I also loved this tinted moisturizer. I was pumped to find this one because it was prices well, has a dewy finish but is oil free, AND it has SPF 30!! It was a little bit harder to blend than I had hoped, but I think it’s just thicker than I’m used to. All in all, I’m excited to keep trying it out!

I give it 4 stars!

Now for what I went out to buy, this liquid concealer! I wanted to try this because I heard that it’s easy to apply and doesn’t crease too much. I was also excited to see that it is a doe food applicator, which makes it easy to draw out where I want it, and that it’s waterproof! For those hot summer days, that’s really nice to have.

I definitely have to agree with what I read about it not creasing too much! I was so happy to see after a few hours of wearing it that I didn’t look like I had wrinkles like some cheaper concealers tend to do. I can’t wait to keep experimenting with this one!

A definite 5 stars on this one!

How cute is this beauty blender?! I needed a new sponge but with all of my wedding planning, how could I resist this adorable diamond?! I was worried that the shape of it might be difficult to work with, but the pointed end is actually great to get into the corners of my eyes.

I recommend wetting any sponge to help apply face makeup, so that’s what I did with this. The flat end is a little harder to work with so I will need to practice.

I’ll give it 4 out of 5 stars, mostly because I love the color and shape 🙂

I needed a new mascara. When it comes to drug store, I usually go with L’oreal Lash Paradise. This though, was literally about $4 and I’ve heard good things so I thought, why not?

They didn’t have the greenish one which is what I’ve heard more about, so I picked this one up instead. I don’t really love it. It clumped my lashes up a bit, but when I brushed them out it seemed a little better. It made them super long though!

I give this one 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Last in my Ulta haul is this lip gloss. Can I just mention how excited I am that lip glosses are back in?! My dry lips are getting sick of liquid lipsticks.

I’ve used the NYX Lingerie liquid lipsticks before and loved it. I feel the same way about the gloss! It goes on so smooth and feels much more hydrating than using a lipstick. It looks really cute and natural.

5 stars for the gloss!

All in all, I think it was a good trip! I made some awesome buys and I probably will repurchase a few once I use them up!
